Bonnie is a two and a half year old mixed breed female who has been with us for a couple of months and has come on in leaps and bounds. As she is quite timid, she will need a quiet household with no cats or small children. Bonnie has some good basic manners, a great recall and will become your shadow if you’re her favourite person. She is quite gentle but super smart and loves her snuggles although the new owner will need to be patient as she gains confidence in a new setting.
Bonnie is okay with other dogs although she would benefit from being the only dog as she can resource guard her food but is improving with regards to this. Ongoing socialisation will be important though. Bonnie also loves playing fetch and showing off her toys – not that they last that long! Bonnie has lived in the country all her life so is not used to the hustle and bustle of an urban environment.
Bonnie does suffer from incontinence which is well controlled by her medication which she is expected to be on for life. She is microchipped, vaccinated, registered and desexed.
