Tazzy

Tazzy is a 12 month old Jack Russell Terrier, Rottweiler, Huntaway and Pomeranian cross young man. A pretty unique combination really.

He has had a sheltered upbringing so far, which means not a great deal of socialisation, or worldly experiences. Consequently he needs a bit of time devoted to catching up on training and socialisation, as well as some work on desensitising him to triggers that over-stimulate him. He is a sweet little dog who really wants to please, he is food motivated, and a fast learner.

He is currently being fostered with two mature dogs who are role-modelling calm and helping him to learn to relax. Taz would do well in a home being the only dog, or with an calm large breed dog. He would love a fast energetic dog but that would wind him up too much. Taz has working breeds in him and needs a job to do, so training is a must. He would be a great agility dog, as he is fast and agile and intelligent. Mostly he just wants love and attention, and stability.

He loves to be groomed, which is great as he has a beautiful longer coat, He is sleeping in a crate at night and learning to be in one for periods of time during the day, as needed. He loves toys, and will play by himself or fetch toys when you throw them for him. He has the most amazing zoomies which are very growly at least once a day – great to watch! .
