We Love Dogs Charitable Trust
The We Love Dogs Charitable Trust purpose is to enhance the lives of dogs, their owners and the community.
Liaising with and respecting the views of all stakeholders within the dog community.
Inspiring people to reach their full potential with respect to dog ownership, working cooperatively and alongside other organisations within the canine community.
Seeking and facilitating the wellbeing of dogs - to rehome, foster and seek adoptive forever homes as the need presents itself.
We promote every dog being de-sexed, registered, microchipped and vaccinated.
We have a rigorous application process for re-homing, fostering and adoptions and fully staffed by volunteers.
The trust seeks to develop outreach programmes that include "Reading to Dogs" ( to assist children or adults develop reading skills), a K9 Cuddles programme where dogs can be involved with improving the wellbeing of groups (eg Senior citizens, rest homes, hospice etc) and providing training programmes on being a responsible dog owner.
Being an advocate and developing other programmes and resources within the community where dogs are seen as a valuable and contributing factor in the wellbeing of the greater community. Developing relationships and sharing resources with other like minded charitable organisations sharing the same vision and purpose.
