Foster Care 2025
We Love Dogs has moved focus towards offering a neuter program due to the cost of surgery and the number of dog owners needing help.
On occasion, we may be able to assist with fostering on a temporary basis, however these urgent cases will only be possible if we do have fosters remaining on our database willing to offer help.
Foster caregivers have been an excellent resource for our community and have assisted the trust with dogs needing short and long term care. The demand, however has overstretched our fosters, their time committment cannot be underestimated. Our own resources have also been stretched to the limit.
We have introduced a new programme to help dog owners seeking help, called “At Home – Rehome”. This process offers a degree of assistance while the dog stays and continues its ownership with its current owner until a suitable home can be found. We Love Dogs will advertise on behalf and pass on any applications to the dog owner(s) to follow up.
